Verification
How to verify KLEAR
Verification means checking something yourself instead of accepting a claim, including ours. These steps take a few minutes and require no wallet connection.
Steps
Seven steps, in order
- 01
Start from an official source
Begin at this website or the official X account at https://x.com/klearsol, opened on 27 October 2026. A link you were sent personally is not an official source, however convincing it looks and whoever appears to have sent it.
- 02
Locate the published mint address
The official Solana mint address appears on the Token Information page once it has been verified. If no address is published there, there is nothing legitimate to compare a token against yet.
- 03
Compare the complete address
Compare every character, not just the first and last few. Copy the address from the official page and check the whole string. Shortened addresses are exactly where counterfeit tokens hide.
- 04
Open it in a recognised Solana explorer
Paste the address into a recognised Solana blockchain explorer. The explorer reads the blockchain itself, independently of anything this website says about it.
- 05
Check the token's identity and authorities
Look at the token's name, decimals, supply, mint authority and freeze authority. An active mint authority can create more tokens; an active freeze authority can freeze accounts. Where either exists, understand what it means before you interact.
- 06
Examine distribution, liquidity and creator-linked wallets
Check how holdings are distributed and whether a small number of wallets control a large share of supply. Look at the liquidity pool and any wallets that appear to be connected to the creator. Concentration and thin liquidity both make a sharp fall more likely.
- 07
Treat unsolicited contact as hostile
Be cautious of direct messages, fake support accounts and anything promising guaranteed profits, early access or a price that cannot go down. No legitimate project needs to send you a contract address by message.
Core principle
A matching name or logo is not proof of authenticity
Anyone can deploy a token with the same name, the same ticker, the same logo and a website that looks identical.
The only thing that distinguishes the real token is its exact mint address, published on an official page and confirmed by you against the blockchain. Everything else — the artwork, the follower count, the endorsements, the price chart, the Telegram or Discord invite — can be copied in minutes.
If an address is not published on this website, there is nothing to compare a token against yet. In that situation the honest position is to wait, not to pick the most convincing-looking option.
Never shorten the check
Safety
What KLEAR will never ask you for
Anything that asks for the following is not KLEAR, whatever name it uses.
- Your seed phrase, recovery phrase or wallet recovery words.
- Your private key, in any format, for any reason.
- A wallet connection merely to read public information about the token.
- A signature, approval or transaction to view this website.
- Payment, deposit or 'gas fee' to receive tokens or to unlock a claim.
Reading public information about a token never requires connecting a wallet. This website does not connect to your wallet, does not request a signature and does not initiate any transaction.
Reporting
If something looks wrong
If you find a token, website, account or listing impersonating KLEAR, report it to the official account so it can be documented. Do not send funds to anything you cannot verify, and do not argue with an account that is demanding a payment or a wallet connection.
No legitimate project needs a "verification fee", a "wallet validation" step or a deposit before tokens can be received or sold.
